Default Wheel spacers needed with teraflex 2.5?

I am planning on getting the teraflex 2.5" coil lift (1251000) and using the stock 18" wheels for a while (until I can afford new wheels/tires). I am getting mixed opinions on whether or not I will need wheel spacers. Teraflex says that my tires will rub the rear sway bar without spacers. Others are saying it will only rub with oversized tires. Any help is appreciated.

i have the same kit..
it rubs the sway bar links with my 32" tires
im still running the original links in the rear (no problems so far)

the old version of sway bar links you were able to put them on the inside...
newer version you have no choice but to put them on the outside

it sucks but it is what it is

When I got my TF 2.5 BB, I ordered spacers at the same time so I never tested it witout them to see if it rubs but the old eyeball tells me that without those spacers I would have been rubbing or pretty dang close to rubbing on the sway bar link.

The spacers give you a nicer stance too!

That's what I figured. I guess the only other option is to run with no rear sway bar until I get wheels. That makes me nervous though. Much rather buy spacers.

Thanks for the replies!

I am running 35x12.50 on the stock rims on a 2" mopar lift with flat flares. Without wheel spacers on my size tire definitely rubbed the rear control arms and also when I turned on the front. I used 1.5" spacers and it gave me a much better stance and also no rubbing.

I recommend wheel spacers depending on the tire size you get. 1.5" is always a safe bet and will always look good on any tire larger than stock.
