Default Manual trans

I hope this is a simple fix! When I press and let off of the clutch I get a clicking. I was told that there is a push rod on the driver side of the trans that has a black cover on it, that if I remove the cover I can grease it and get rid of the clicking. Anyone have this same issue??

When pressing/depressing my clutch I heard squeaking too.

Also when clutch is fully depress on neutral and engine at idle, I can hear something loose vibrating but as soon as I barely touch the clutch the sound disapear.

Ive hear many JKer on the forum talking about throwout clutch bearing.

28500 km here, I will have it check by stealership at my 30k maintenance

Yours definitely sounds like the throwout bearing, and they it should be covered under warranty. I had to do the same thing myself. But for the first post, if you try it, let me know. I am getting the same click and it is not the throwout bearing.

Cleaning and regreasing the slave cylinder seemed to quiet it down some. I may have to flush the clutch also.
