Help! I can has a leak!
Or a drip or something. I put new wheels on last Thursday, had a slight shimmy so I had to take off the rotor clips and put everything back on. I did that Friday. It runs perfect now. Tonight, I notice a small leak / drip under my Jeep. It seems to be coming from the back side of the hub.
Any ideas what it could be? I'm sure my expert picture will allow someone to pinpoint it.

The puddle is pretty big right now at work....about the size of a baseball. I have an appt @ the dealership tomorrow morning.
looks like an inner axle seal!! to replace that the diff cover and gears need to come out, as well as the axle shafts.. quite a big job...
Shit. I haven't been on the trails at all since I put my new wheels on. Any ideas if wheels will void the warranty? I'm fully expecting to take it in my dirty starfish and have the dealership not cover this. Is this a common issue with JK's or did I F something up?
just make sure ur diff is filled properly.

It should be covered under warranty. I worked at a Ford dealership for 12 years and we did these types of leaks under warranty all of the time. Custom wheels have nothing to do with an axle seal like.
You guys are damn good. I spent 4 hours at the dealership this morning - it was an axle seal...and it was covered under warranty - no questions asked.
Thanks to everyone for the help in figuring out what it was (I went in there and told the service guys, "I think it's an axel seal!" like I know what the F I was talking about).
