Default Terraflex 2.5" 08 jk x 2 door

I am thinking of getting this kit for my jk and am wondering if anyone has it and what they think of it. I do lots of freeway driving and some moderate offraod. This is my daily driver and i would like it to drive like it does stock or if not better. I am planning on putting the wrangler duratracs on when i have the lift but i am torn between 35" and 33". I dont plan on regearing, however i would consiter a performance package if it was needed. I will also add that it is a 6 speed manual. If anyone has this kit, i would love to see pictures, anything you can add about the lift and know what size tires you are running! thanks in advance!

'08 Sahara with Duratrac 33s. Have had it off road a couple of times and no issues whatsoever.

09 with 2.5 with shocks. Running 305/70r17. Most consider that a 34. This is my DD and I love the way it rides. Teraflex suspension was so easy to install.

If you get the Teraflex 2.5" lift, make sure you get the one for the 4dr. It will give you a little extra height in case you add bumpers and stuff.

I can comment on the DuraTrac.. not on the lift.

I do a ton of highway driving as well and have 33's. They are awesome. Dead quiet and a real joy. I opted for a 10" wheel to stretch the DuraTrac's out a bit and give them a round profile and they are just about perfect.

I was about to do a TF leveling kit, but that got delayed and I am considering other options.. most likely a BB or JKU springs & Rubi shocks (gotta edit my sig...)

Put the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift w/Teraflex shocks. Love the lift. Tracks straight, but is a little stiffer than a my Rubi was stock. Also beware that if you flex it to the max you will more than likely tear the boot on your driveshaft on the front if you have an auto. I ripped mine fist time out flexing in a deep trench trail. Also, my left rear swaybar link bolt snagged the metal brakeline and pretzeled it. Fixed it with a braided flexible brakeline. It is a great lift and gives you the height advertised.

That is good! You have a 6 speed so you won't have the driveshaft issue.
