Default 2012 unliminted sport help

Ok, hers my first post. I just ordered a whte 2012 sport unlimited and am thinking about putting a teraflex 3'' lift with old man emu nitro shocks w/ nitto terra grapplers 305/70/17.
so my questions are:

1} is this a good setup for a jk yhat will see 99% street use with only light trail use?
2} do i realley need an adjustable fronyt track bar?
3}is tera flex a low, mid or high quality lift kit, as it doesn't come with trackbar thanks in advance for any helpful replys, John

Its a good set up. I have the 2.5 inch teraflex coil lift and plan to run 35x12.50x17 inch tires. Teraflex is a good company and makes good lifts. I dont know much about the 3 inch lift but I know for the 2.5 they have a bracket to adjust the angle using the same one. With the 3 inch lift im sure they do they same since you said its not included... However I would most likely go ahead a get one if the money is avalible. Always better to run the stuff thats meant to go with it rather than making stuff work. Congrats on your first post and your new jeep. hope i could help

Do some more research to be sure, but you should probably expect 4" or a bit more with those 3" coils. So yes, you will want to recenter that front axle. And you will want some form of caster correction. And longer brake lines. And longer links. And you will want to watch that front drivesahft, of course.

The lack of a front trackbar has no bearing whatsoever on the quality. There are minimal kits, and there are more complete kits. Teraflex has about a bajillion different kits for the JK alone, so just decide what you want, and buy the kit that has those components.

If you look in the Suspension area of the faq's (top of this modified area), you will find a list of recommended components for various lift heights.
