Default Tired of 4x4 shops not knowing whats going on... aaaaand gear oil question

So, decided to service my rear Diff and replace my cover with something more heavy duty... I liked the ARB, but its a different red than the Jeep, so I went with the Teraflex. When I was deciding, the guy told me the Teraflex didn't have a drain plug like the ARB did (Dana 44). Well, shoulda read through the Project JK write up, because there is A FREAKIN DRAIN PLUG ON THE AXLE. This after my most local 4X4 shop telling me that my D30 is a D44.

Question about gear oil... it was suggested that I use Amsoil by the 4x4 shop, but the darned container is too big to get it upside down enough to drain into the diff... any suggestions? Should I just go with Royal Purple? Looks like in the write up it has a nozzle and the container is smaller.
