Default PSC bumpers help me out!

Im in a debate with bumpers for my jeep and have narrowed it down to one company but i really dont know which line i want to run. I like all posion spyder products but i dont no if i want to run the bfh line of bumpers or the rock brawler line. Both have their pros and cons.

Brawler line:
Pros: Looks really good, all bolt on

Cons: Heavy, expensive

BFH line:
Pros: Light weight, not expensive, looks good

Cons: Requires cutting of frame rails, would have to run the spare in the back ( no biggy i dont run a rear seat anyway).

Ive ordered everything except my bumpers because im having a really hard time deciding what i want to run. Im sure some of you have been there done that.

Happy w/the Brawler. I carry enough junk w/me, I sure as heck dont want to give up space to squeeze a 37"er inside.

I just bought brawler front and it looks great. I noticed the other day they had rear brawler with tire carrier in the garage sale section, might want to check it out. Either way you should be happy since in PSC. Which rails you running?

Default Great choices

I think anything that PSC makes is a step in the right direction. I actually have the BFH rear, however it has never been installed do to a conflict of how it mounts and how my rear EVO lever suspension mounts. I favor the minimalist design on any of the armor that goes on a rig, but I guess it depends on what your intent with the Jeep is. Here is a recent great write up with a common BFH bumper and Tire carrier combo. Also look at some of the tire carrier options like the OR Fab, Gen Right and Offroad Evolution pieces, they give you the option of running any bumper since the tire carrier mounts to the rear quarter panels. Just an option later down the road

Also here is a nice looking JK with the same combo as the above thread. Basically it is what I am sure my rig would be similar to if I had mounted my BFH bumper.

I really like that combo the or fab carrier goes really well with the rear bfh. I could always run the rear bfh and later on add A or fab carrier. I wonder how well the PSC chrusher coiners would work with the or fab setup? Saving weight and saving money is always a good thing too. Thanks for the link and the picture.

I think the yellow JK in the photo is actually running River Raider rear quarter armor. Also, check this link below because OR Fab makes rear armor too, but if you are set on the PSC rear armor I am sure the OR Fab guys could tell if it would work and how to do it.

Hope this helps!!

I believe you are wrong on that thought. That looks to be PSC rear armor. The River Raider has recessed taillights and I think I can even see PSC logo on the front of the armor where it is generally cut.

Hey Guys,

The Yellow JK in question there is my old JK. I sold it about 6 months ago. Corner Armor is indeed PSC.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH EITHER BUMPER!

I will always prefer with a BFH rear with NO Carrier now.

I found some old pics of the Jeep before I sold it. I now own the original Spyder JK which is BFH rear also! (BTW, cutting the rear frame isn't that bad)
