Default HELP: 4.10 gears and 35" tires

I was doing a lot of research today on new tires and then started to think about a gear upgrade because i thought my Sahara had 3.21 gears but after research i found that I have 4.10 gears so now my question is will 35" tires work well with my 4.10's

it will work might be a little bogged down feeling at times but you'll need a pro call or something similar aswell. I'd reccomend getting the 5.38s but your set up will work. There's a chart on gears and tires sizes in the faq section.

With the 3.8 I still think you need at least something a little lower than the 4:10's to run 35's comfortably. I hated my Rubicon's power with the stock wheel/tire and the 4:10's. When I went with the 35's it was definitely time to re-gear. However, I traded it for a 12 before it ever got to that point.

I run that combo and can't wait for 5.13's. Its not horrible if you keep the overdrive off. A programmer will help some. Actually a dealer can re-flash the computer to a slightly bigger size than yours is set up with that helps a little

Automatic i'm guessing? Go with one of the lighter 35's, like duratrac, and add a superchips and it's manageable. don't expect to set any land speed records.

I'm running this combo and it's fine. I don't use 6th until 80mph, but it gets around town and geared alright for trails

I'm running 4.10s with 35s. It does fine with overdrive off but I would rather not have to remember to shut it off all the time. You really notice a problem more at highway speeds when trying to maintain 70mph. She wants to shift down constantly. I have a new set of Yukon 5.13s at the house waiting for install.

I run 4.88's with 33's and it works well so a little lower with 35's should be great.
