Default My Duratrac Tread Life Experience!!!!

I just got back from my 5th rotation and wanted to tell everyone who was interested how my 285/75/16 Duratracs are holding up. I installed them in September '10 with 54,400 miles on the JK. Today I have 71,535 miles on them. That's 17,135 miles so far with even tread wear throughout the tire and still tons of tread left. I rotate in my spare as well and had played with the pressure a bit in the beginning to get the maximum life out of them. I currently sit on 36 lbs each. They are a bit hard, but that's the pressure I found best for overall tread wear and my daily driving. Still love them for rain, mud and snow and they are as quiet as the day I bought them!

Excellent, thanks for the feedback. I'll be putting new shoes on in January, and it looks like I'll be going w/ the Duratracs.

Ill play I have had these 315/70/17 on for 22000 miles and 4 tire rotations (5 tire rotation). Not sure how much thread life is left but it looks pretty good if you ask me. Maybe someone can give me an idea on how much is left.

Mine are holding up just as well. Only 2 rotations so far. I'll have to check the mileage.
I don't run 36psi in mine, I like about 30, they ride a little nicer.

I run mine at 30 psi as well, and they are wearing great. Knock on wood, but I think I'll easily get 50k out of them.

Can't wait for more / bigger sizes to come out!

I have more than 40k on mine and have more than 1/2 tread remaining. I will replace them in about 20k miles with about 1/4 tread left.

I'm over 30k on mine and the tread is great. I expect to well surpass 50k. I love these tires!

I'm installing these on my Tundra after Christmas.

I run the new MT/R's on my jeep.

Both are GREAT tires!
