Control Arms - How hard to install?
Interested in knowing how difficult these are to install. Any problems that I need to consider?
Also, what do I gain by replacing all 8 arms on a 2.5 or 3 inch lift? Seems to me that this change (though maybe unnecessary) will lead to a highly improved driving experience.

the lowers are super easy to replace and you don't even need to jack up your jeep to do it. the rear uppers will require you to jack up your jeep and remove the tires so that you can access the bolts on the axle. on the rear uppers, lining up the nut plate up into the frame with your control arm can be a little tricky but, patience will get it in there. up front, the passenger side upper arm will be impossible to remove the frame mount bolt unless you lower your exhaust. i recommend that you cut the bolt and reinstall a new bolt in the opposite directions. this write-up should help you out:

All eight arms are just not needed for only. 2.5-3 inch lift. As for adj arms With your desired lift- look at kits that have them already. You'll see that they all only have one set up front and one for the back. KISS- keep it simple stupid. More arms to adjust =more upkeep and more to Have adjusted correctly.

Though I understand that all 8 aren't needed, I would think that the adjustability of 8 would make the Jeep significantly improved from a handling perspective (due to the ability to dial everythign in). For that matter, I have read several places that teh stock arms are fairly good version, just not adjustable.
My desired kit is an OME.

With OME coils, you will not have the big height, so all 8 are not needed. (unless you are getting the +40 coils, which very few people are doing?) Figure on 3-3.25" with the HD coils, less than that with the md or ld's. Get front lowers and go have fun. If/when you lose the rear driveshaft, add rear uppers.
