Coast Drive Shaft Question

Don't worry about it. Mine have the same too, and I've had them (front/rear) for over a year with wheeling time. They are still blue. I think it's extra protection for the splines, and helps with the lube.
Not to hijack the thread but was there a dust cover on the stock yoke that came off with it? It came off both the transfer case yoke and the pinion yoke.. I installed the shaft without putting them back on? Is that what you did? Any help appreciated? I couldn't find any info on it

I put on the front one and drove around and it sounded like a cricket mating haha so I took it off this morning.. I havent had any type of gear oil leaking so I figured it was just a dust cover of some sort and coast was closed for Christmas :/
Isnt that the part that rips off the stock drive shaft?
Don't have the blue on my Coast front shaft on the 4door. Maybe it's not as extended as what the 2 door with lift has. I'll check when wheelin and report back it I have the "blue" too.
