Default Yj shocks on a JK?

Ones anyone know if shocks that will fit on a Yj will mount the same as on a Jk. Found a used set I would like to get but it's from a Yj lift. Thanks for the help

Don't know many that would do this...
But it's easy enough to sort out. Just will take a little effort on your part.
First check stock or lifted shock length.
Second check the mounts on each end of the shocks.
Then, finally, compare your findings to your JK.
Good luck!
I used to run Rancho RS9012's on my YJ (longest travel fully adjustable Rancho shock available at the time) but I had Ford F350 shock towers welded in for more travel...and I still managed to destroy a shock and rip the tower out and cut one of my front steel braided brake lines while wheeling. :-/
