Default Body Removal w/o lift

Anyone removed the JK body from the frame without a 2-post lift (ie in their garage)?

I remember seeing a thread on a Hemi Install and someone doing it in their garage, but Ive been everywhere and can't seem to find it..

Thanks in advance,

BR~

doing this with trucks we used allot of lumber floor jacks and jack stands then rolled the frame out from under the body.

You would be suprised how many shops do something like that. Then put the body onto a solid stand. It also helps to have 4-6 strong guys when you do this. Keepin in mind we are talking about Heavy early 80's trucks

Gents -

Appreciate the responses... Being from the North but living in the South gives me some license to utilize some unconventional redneck wrenching.

I'm sure there are ways around the lift, just looking for ideas...

Appreciated,

BR-
