Default Emergency rain Summer top options?

I bought my first Jeep last Fall and it came with a hardtop which is what I was looking for. This summer I would like to go completely topless/no doors but, I am concerned about unexpected rain. What would be the best way to provide a dry drive in the event that it rains? I *don't think* that I want a soft top. I am thinking that I'd like to get a top that I put on when the weather starts to look like it is going to rain. Maybe some thing that I can store in the Jeep that I can put on in a moments notice. Is there anything like that out there?

You mean something to cover it and wait out the storm or something to cover it and still be drivable.

For the first one, there are alot of options like rugged ridge, bestop, mopar, smittybilt, ect. Just google Jeep Cab Cover.

For the second one, no such thing exists.

then nothing exists, just haul ass and get to cover, and pull out the drain plugs

There are mesh bikini tops that may 'help' a little but there is no real rainproof solution other than soft top.

I run the Bestop bikini top all summer. Rolls up nice and fits in the trunk. If I see rain coming it takes 2 minutes to throw on. Keeps the interior nice and dry.

Canvas, nylon straps, velcro, thread and some plastic buckles. Mine has come in handy during unexpected storms:

But it's not as pretty as some of the bikini tops out there.

I plan to do the Trektop NX softop thing eventually, and run it without windows. Just hard doors or element doors with skins and removable tops. That would be combined with the deck cover and wrap around windjammer. Only rain spot issue would be where the deck cover joins the wrap around windjammer. I had a similar combo on my TJ, and never had issues.
