Default RC 2.5" 4dr lift on a 2dr

So I just spent a while on google search and on the forum search and couldnt find what I was looking for. I am going to be getting a 2.5" coil lift from rough country, basically just springs and shock extensions, and was wandering if I should get the 4dr lift over the 2dr to help compensate for bumper, winch spare...etc. Anyone have any experience with this? any difference? problems? total lift? thanks for the advice!

I'd stick with the 2dr lift. I have the RC 2.5 coils and RC 2.2 shocks on my 2dr. Very stiff! bounces all over the road. I replaced the RC shocks with Bilstein 5100's to make the ride much nicer. If I would of known, I wouldn't of bought the RC lift. Rough country=Rough ride

Yeah he beat me to it. I would seriously consider the teraflex 2.5" lift over the rough country. I started with the 4" RC lift on my jeep, and never liked the ride from day one. The only parts left from that lift are the springs themselves, and those will be swapped out here soon for something better.

I installed a 2.5" teraflex lift the other day (spacers and new shocks) on a friends jeep, and it rode better than stock.
