Default 2012 is an absolute jet plane

Everytime I need to really scoot to get out harm's way, I realize how god-awful fast the 2012 autos are. It feels like I could disconnect two plugwires and still beat my old 3.8.

Man.....you have low expectations as to what a 'jet plane' feel is out of a vehicle! Never heard of a Jeep referred to as jet fast in my life! Thanks for the Friday night chuckle!

A nissan versa accelerates faster but I must admit, its certainly more awake than the old motor. I love the 5 speed auto. good pairing.

Not a Jet Airplane, but I understand the OP's enthusiasm as my 2012 feels much quicker than my 2011 did. The 2011 made me nervous when pulling out on the interstate. A speed demon? No!! Noticable improvement over my 2011? Definitely!!

I drove my uncle's 2012 sport, and honestly I wasnt that impressed. Sure its nice to have a little extra power, but it was nothing worth trading my 2010 over.

Here's my garage. It sets my "jet plane" references. What's yours look like?

'bout the same...exept supercharged vs turbocharged

Even funnier now that you refer to the Jeep as a 'Jet'!
