so i've been brainstorming hydro assist setups for a while now. so far i think i have everything thought out except mounting it to the tierod. so far im set on going with a rockkrawler tierod, the diameter of the RK tierod is 1 5/8 or 1.625". i've been searching for clamps that will fit that tierod and can have the ram bracket welded onto it as well. does anyone have suggestions?

 

I measured twice and tack welded the brackets on, then bolted up the ram and tested it. Then I took it apart and completed the welding. Works great.

 

can definitely work but i would like to avoid welding directly to the tierod.
