Default At what lift height is the exhaust mod required on the 2012?

I'm looking at few different BB lifts for my 2012 JKU and wanted to know how high I can go without having to worry about installing either the teraflex exhaust spacer or the aFe y pipe. I'm probably not going to go very high, probably one of the Daystar spacer lifts plus the fender trim to make room for larger tires. Eventually I'm going to do the afe y pipe and put on a 3.5" RK Xfactor lift, but for now I want keep the cost down and start with wheels and tires.

Thanks

for the most part, it's not the lift height that's the problem but rather, how long your shocks are or more to the point, how much droop they will allow when articulating. so long as you get a BB kit with shock extensions or shocks that are short enough like what TF has, you shouldn't have a problem.

Just to give you a reference, I have the 2.5 TF Coil lift w/ the TF shocks. The drop in the driveline was very close to the exhaust and a $50 part was cheap insurance against the possibility of having to replace an expensive front driveshaft, plus installation of the TF exhaust spacers was easy.

Good points. I suppose I could put the Teraflex spacers in if I come to find that there is a clearance issue depending on what kit and shock/shock extension combo I go with.

Thanks guys
