Default MOPAR lift

I cant seem to find the thread where I read the reference, but I remember someone saying who the MOPAR lifts were made by. I know the full suspension 2 inch lift is made by Superlift and seem to recall someone saying the 2 inch MOPAR spacer lift is Rubicon express?

Looking to go with the MOPAR lift because they are covered under the lifetime warranty when installed by the dealership and probably want the spacer because the other is said to actually lift 3 inches plus on a two door and I dont want that much with only 33 inch tires (not to mention its about 2000 dollars more).

So is this accurate - the 2 inch MOPAR spacer lift is by Rubicon Express?

The Mopar lift does not come with the life time warranty even if the dealer puts it in. Believe me I have done a lot of research on this and no matter what they say it is a performance part and you need to read the warranty disclaimer that comes with it. Admitedly you have the Magnison Moss act on your side but the lift you put in gives them wiggle room as far as fighting warranty issues in the drive line.

The MOPAR 2" suspension lift is manufactured by Super Lift and is covered under the Lifetime warranty, by this I mean the components of the lift are covered for a lifetime through Super Lift. It doesn't mean that the vehicles warranty will still be honored if it is found that the lift caused a vehicles component failure.

Guys, the mopar lifts ARE covered under the lifetime warranty. Believe me have done my homework on this one. Will try to find the link I ran across too, but the lifts are the first "performance part" offered by mopar that are completely covered under the lifetime warranties when installed by a mopar tech. actually a whole paragraph saying just that in the mopar parts book. The service dept even goes to special training on how to install them per company guidelines. Yes the parts of the lift are covered through the company that made it, but the dealership handles that if an issue. The wormanship is covered as any other part under the lifetime warranty. I just wondered how many knew who made the spacer lift for sure. Was pretty sure it was rubicon express

In the Mopar Performance Parts website or catalog in the dealership at the bottom of every page it says "Mopar Performance Partsare sold as is, without any warranty whatsoever."

I attached a picture of it from there site, but it is next to impossible to read with the color scheme here.

In the catalog is says
NO PARTS WARRANTY – “AS IS”
Mopar Performance parts beginning with a “P” prefix are sold “as is” unless otherwise noted. This
means that parts sold by Mopar Performance carry no warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties, such
as warranties of merchantability, are excluded. (An implied warranty of merchantability means that
the part is reasonably fit for the general purpose for which it was sold). The entire risk as to quality
and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their
purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all
necessary servicing or repair. Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Jeep® vehicle and parts warranties are
voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition. The addition of performance parts does not by
itself void a vehicle’s warranty. However, added performance parts (parts not originally supplied on the
vehicle from the factory) are not covered by the vehicle’s warranty, and any failure that they may cause
is also not covered by the vehicle’s warranty.
All of the Jeep lifts offered have part numbers beginning with a P

Default mopar lift

Hammer002, I am also interested in putting the MOPAR 2" spacer lift on my new Rubicon so talked to my guy at the local JEEP service dept. He told me if they install it then it does not void the warranty. I wouldn't put it past them to take my money and install it then void my warranty for future problems. I am thinking about ordering it (if I can find where to buy it) and having them put it on if they will put it in writing. Let me know if you get any more details and I will let you know what my service guys say. Saw you are in Olathe...I grew up in Overland Park and used to be in your neck of the woods all the time.

See my prior post. If your dealership is making that claim get it in writing because if you ever do have a problem and it isn't in writing they do not have to, and probably won't cover it. My service department sales guys are paid on comission, have sales quotas, and have no problem lying to get a larger paycheck.

Last time I was at a dealer for warranty work they pulled a spark plug and told me it would be $90 to replace all six of them. I have 25,000 miles and a lifetime powertrain warranty so I said if they are that bad warranty them. All of a sudden the tech gave him a plug from someone elses vehicle and he got confused. It is their job to sell.

Default more info

I just stumbled across this article when googling for a place to buy the MOPAR lift. Sounds like the lift has a warranty but it doesn't specify how they handle the warranty for drivetrain etc.

Moab, Utah, Apr 8, 2009 - Mopar® today unveiled a significantly expanded parts catalog for Jeep® and Dodge truck customers.

The Mopar parts catalog now has approximately 100 new Authentic Jeep Accessories, Authentic Dodge Accessories and Performance Parts from Mopar, solidifying the brand’s place as a major competitor in the Jeep and truck accessory and performance marketplace.

“Mopar has taken the step to add 100 new off-road, truck and performance parts and accessories in the last year in response to customer demand,” said Jim Sassorossi, Director—Mopar Global Parts Sales and Marketing, Chrysler LLC. “An additional benefit is that now 3,250 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships located across the United States are the one-stop destination point for all of our customers’ vehicle-upfitting needs.”

Mopar is the source for all of Chrysler LLC’s original equipment parts for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles. Mopar parts are unique in that they are engineered by the same team that creates all factory-authorized vehicle specifications for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge products. That means Mopar’s direct connection to the factory offers customers something no other aftermarket parts company can provide.

Following is a sampling of the most significant new accessories and performance parts from Mopar:

Two-inch and 4-inch Lift Kits
Mopar now offers Jeep and Dodge truck customers a complete and comprehensive line of lift kits. Mopar is expanding its off-road performance line to include Dodge trucks with a new 4-inch lift kit, which requires a minimum 18-inch wheel and allows for up to 37-inch tires.

In addition, a Mopar 2-inch lift kit is now available for 2007 to 2009 model year two-door and four-door model Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Most moderate Jeep Wrangler lifts use coil spring spacers with the factory coil springs. However Mopar’s replacement coil spring lift allows as much suspension articulation as most 4-inch lift kits, resulting in increased performance with minimal impact on vehicle center-of-gravity. Also new, Mopar’s 2-inch lift kit is covered by a Mopar Performance first Limited Lifetime Warranty. Both the 2-inch and 4-inch lift kits by Mopar are currently available for purchase.
