I just installed a Sprint Booster and I plugged the end into the harness the wrong way causing the check engine light to come on. I flipped the plug over and all is well except the check engine light is on. Will I have to visit the dealer, or will it eventually reset itself and shut off?

Does anybody see any reason why it will hurt to drive it this way, check engine light on, until I can get to the dealer?

 

Did you leave the door open +5min before the switch?

 

Yes I left the door open for 5 minutes, I also got the lightning bolt immediately after I hooked it up wrong.

 

Disconnect the battery, turn on the headlights for 5 minutes. Reconnect and the error will clear if it was transitory.
