Default TF Leveling Kit vs. AEV 2" spacer lift

Hey guys,

Anyone have any thoughts between the TF Leveling Kit vs. the AEV 2" spacer lift? I'm torn between the two and have no experience with either. I know AEV makes good products, but Teraflex does as well and in this case is half the costs. I guess that's the reason I hear Teraflex over AEV in most cases. But, the real question is quality. Is there any real reason that I should go with the AEV spacer vs the TF leveling kit? Please advise. Thanks!

I ran a Rough Country 2.5" spacer lift on my previous jeep and I am currently running the AEV 2" spacer on my 2011. If I had not got a deal on the AEV through a fellow member I probably would have went for something a little less expensive. I have not noticed any ride or quality difference between the two. I have no personal experience with the teraflex leveling kit so I have no input on that one. The only difference I found between the rough country and the AEV was that the RC did not come with extended swaybars and bump stops. Here is a pic of my 2 door with the AEV pretty much stock otherwise:

Isn't a spacer lift just a spacer lift? You don't have to worry about springs sagging, because it's the same factory springs no matter which kit. And at that low of lift you don't have to worry about it coming with the extras that the 3 inch or more comes with. So to me why would you pay for just the AEV name for the same thing??

See? That's what I thought too, but I heard that the AEV kit comes with a few extra things that help with the geometry of the JK. I know most everyone is running the TeraFlex kit with no issues, and I'm leaning that way too. But does anyone know what makes the AEV spacer kit that much more of a premium kit?

To be honest, just go with the teraflex over paying double for the AEV spacer. The only reason I got the AEV was because I bought it in a deal with Rubi shocks and springs. There will be absolutely no difference in ride or quality at that size of lift. It has everything the AEV comes with minus the bump stops. I would have went with the teraflex over the AEV if I would have been paying retail for it.
