Default Feedback on goodyear mt/r kevlar 255/75/17

WHat do you guys think about these tires?

They'd be going on a stock 2012 jk

Was tempted to do 265/75/17

How noisy would these be on regular highway travel?

Matthew

I have these in a 35 but as far as highway noise, I have had them at 80 and there is very minimal noise. However they have 4000 miles on them and my wife and I both feel they have gotten slightly louder. So who knows what will happen throughout their lifespan.

I have these in 35 as well, about 8k miles on them so far. They are quieter than the stock Rubi tires I replaced, I've rotated them a few times, getting nice even wear on them.

What are you doing for rotation? I just hit 4000 and I thought maybe that would be a good interval.

Did the 5-tire rotation, very easy to do in the garage. Google it and you will get some good diagrams.

Thank you, I just meant mileage interval though.

Great tires. Just spent a week in Moab and they did great. All MT's will have some noise. These are quieter than the Mickey Thompson MT's I had. Rotate at 2500-3000 miles or they will get noisier from uneven wear.

You won't regret buying these tires I run 35/12.50-17 GY MTR/K. I have 15,000 on mine a mix of on and off road. On road they ride great for a tire of that size noise level is fine at 75 mph with either top. Mine are wearing well with a flat tread pattern at 32psi. And I air down to about 10 psi and they hold up off road great and really work at what ever terrain you throw at them. I Will Buy Them Again When It Is Time. -
