Question!
when i start up my engine, put my jeep into drive and accelerate, i notice a rattling/ ticking noise. its only when i give it gas, when i let off the gas pedal it stops. it seems to fade away when my engine heats up. it just started doing this about a week ago... any idea what it is?

Pull out your glove box. Look in there (to the left) and you'll see two metal tubes. They rattle together until they heat up. I fixed mine by putting a small piece of rubber between the two. There are a couple of threads on this with pics.
Good luck!

i have a 2010 two door jk. it sounds like the noise is coming from underneath the jeep, not the glove box. if anything ill take to the dealership and have them look at it. i just dont want to have to ride around in a crappy rental car until its done...
