tire issues
alright, so ive had these federal couragami MT's for about 8 months now.. lately ive been having a horrible death wobble while the tires are cold, but once you drive for about 5-10 mins it goes away and has the usual slight wobble jeeps always have. Ive torqued all my bolts, suspension, u joints, steering stabilizer everything... could the belts in the tires shifted by chance? ive read a lot of people having issues with these tires and separating belts along with balancing. I'm almost to the point of just buying new tires in hope that fixes the problem
I dont know much about these tires, but there isnt such thing as a "normal" Jeep wobble. A good mud terrain tire should balance out fine. I would try to have them rebalanced, and make sure there isn't any mud stuck on the inside of the wheel and go from there
i had death wobble on my jeep for the longest time. i took it to the local 4x4 shop and they said everything looked great but my tires should be balanced. They checked and said they were balanced fine. Got new tires since they were worn and DW went away immediately and hasnt come back yet
