I started cutting my stock bumper down. Here's a good link to a thread on this already:

Good luck!

I'm thinking about doing the outer bumper into a stubby also but my main goal right now is the metal bumper behind the plastic one. Thanks for the info.

I've cut my metal stock bumper to hell. I took about 4" off the ends to do the stubby and cut the middle section between the fog holes out for my winch line.

Default Anyone know who makes frame horn shackles?

I was looking at aftermarket bumper add-ons, specifically shackles for the Rugged Ridge and Off-Camber bumpers... I am thinking untill I can afford real steel, I would rock a stubby rear (plasti-weld) with exposed rivet shackles. The only ones I like so far are by Off Camber for $80- anyone have any suggestions?
