Got an email that jeep wants to buy my 2010 2dr...maybe time for a jku rubicon??

 

Go for it, I just traded my 2010 rubi 2dr for a 12 rubi mall crawler. got an excellent trade in, made it all worth while.

 

Why do they want to buy it? Is it for research or just a gimic to get you to buy a new one?

 

Ive seen the same letter but i thought it was only for Jeeps with the lifetime powertrain warranty.

 

I got a hand written letter from a manager from a dealership wanting to buy my Jeep a few months ago. Should've acted on it, but I didn't.

 

They want the jeeps that work and they want to get rid of the ones that don't

 

Of course it's because it makes them money! They want to buy your jeep and sell you another and trust me they are making money on both sides of the deal.

 

Traded my 11 for a 12 and never looked back!! The extra power was worth it to me...

 

I am getting ready to do the same thing with my 2010 jk rubi for a 2012 4dr jku rubi.

 

A - Low amount of good shape not very old used vehicles in the market right now. Where there used to be a glut of 1-3 year old used vehicles in dealerships there just isn't any more as people hold on to them longer due to the economy, job market, depreciating dollar, etc. Dealers make a lot of money on used vehicles and they serve as a good way to ensure a customer can still buy something from them even if their dreams of owning a new vehicle fall short for whatever reason. This means they are pushing HARD to find decent shape relatively new used vehicles.

B - Yes, they want to sell you a new vehicle.
