No pics because I was riding my bike, but I didn't think it was legal to drive on the road with your windshield down. It was a TJ, I think, but it might have been older. Looked pretty cool.

 

I will run the back roads with the windshield down in my CJ5 from time to time. I believe it's legal to do so in NY as long as you're wearing eye protection. Surplus military goggles do the trick for me. Others may want to make a more sophisticated fashion statement. On the trail, the CJ windshield is always down (weather permitting). Dropping the JK windshield will probably happen only during a weekend of trailrides at camp as it's a bit more of an effort.
