Default Are Nitto Dune Grapplers 315/70/17 any good?

I'm in the market for a new set of tires. Found a good price for Nitto Dune Grapplers $247 each and was wondering what people thought of them. I currently have Pro Comp 33's but thought I Might go to 315/70/17 for a little larger stance(34.1). I currently have a 4" lift on my Jk. Will those tires fit and will they slow me down dramatically (ie gas mileage, rubbing, need to re gear). tell me what you guys think.

They are pretty much a sand tire. It really depends on what kind of terrain you plan on using it on

I have a friend that runs them on his full size Chevy truck and luvs them. He hasn't had any issues on getting stuck easily, I thought they were just for looks.

Mainly going to use them for the road with a little off roading in sand. Want a tire that looks good but gets good mileage on the road. Are they any good in rain. I live in Florida and we get are fair share of rain.

Every review I've read says they work great on the street and in sand, but that's about it. Sounds like they may be a good choice for you.

You might also consider the Goodyear duratrac, which is an aggressive all terrain and does great in rain

Just looked up the Goodyear wrangler duratracs. They look really good and the reviews are pretty consistent as to their overall durability. Anyone know a place to get them for a good price. I found $278 a tire so far online. Is that a good price?
