Default Thinking about beginning the emptying of pockets...

I have been trying to put this off, mainly because I told my wife that I would...but I just don't think I can wait any longer. I am looking into doing a small budget boost 2.5" lift (probably TeraFlex) and starting off with some 285/75/17 (maybe Nitto or BFG). Wheels are already on it, previous owner put some black ones on that I shouldn't have to change right away.

Good news is I purchased my Rubi with some nice BFG's that are fairly new. I'm thinking that I can probably post those up on Craigslist along with my RubiRails I've already replaced with rock sliders, thus minimizing my pocket exposure.

I do need some help though. If I do a budget boost, since I am running a Rubicon, do I need to upgrade shocks or can I ride the ones I have? Also, I've read a thread that mentions changing the Drive Shaft after lifting...but I think that is if I was going bigger and with a coil system.

Any recommendations?
