Default Wanting to do a custome Thrush muffler job

Light guys so I've been thinking about this and planning it out for a while. My plan is to just slip the stock muffler off and slip a 45 degree elbow on the end and a new muffler slipped into that. I'm doing this mainly because I'm so bored with how quiet my jeep is. It's a 2012 two door. I'm wanting to use a Thrush muffler because of low cost. My main dilemma here is wether to use the Thrush Turbo or Welded muffler. What I'm trying to get to is what do you guys think will sound better on the 3.6, the Turbo of Welded. Ive been watching YouTube video since I got the jeep back in January trying to figure out what will sound good, but not much out there still, nothing real custom other than full kits anyways. Well just let me know what y'all think.

i remember i had the 18" body length thrush glasspack on my tj and it really wasn't much louder than stock, of course there was a big tone difference but not much sound, the good thing is thrush's burn out quickly so it will get louder pretty quick, then i decided to switch to the 8" cherry bomb glass pack, both look the same on the inside but the cherry bomb takes longer to burn out. i would say go thrush if you want cheap and quick tone, but if you really want it to be loud go cherry bomb not because of the company, but because cb makes a shorter glass pack and i haven't ever seen a thrush under 18" sorry for the ramble just wanted to help

I have been running no muffler for quite awhile.. It's alot louder but not loud enough for me.. (I'm used to a fire breathing chevy 6.0 with open glasspacks) I recently bought a flowmaster super 44 and bolted it into the stock location. It's obviously a different sound but just isn't loud enough. So next week I'm having a shop do a resonator delete and throw the 44 in there.. Hopefully that puts the sound where I want it to be.. I agree with what is said about when it comes to the glasspacks.

Deep. Sounds like a v8 at idle for sure. Sounds like a v8 inside as well. I think the hard top makes the sound change a little but i haven't heard it outside yet. It was also piped all the way back with a turn down so no sound was directed into the cab. I can't wait to hear it without the resonator. I just hope it gets alot louder. I have also noticed that being a dual chambered flowmaster it does have more drone than my straight pipe at highway speeds.

Cool, yeah I'm not really trying to go for really loud but something with a little more noise and a little throatier, I think the thrush welded and flowmaster 44 design are similar
