Default No Lift and 33s Pic...???

I've been reading that a few have put on 33s without any lift with little to no rubbing at all. I'd just like to see what that looks like on a 2 dr. Just one or 2 pics would be fine.
I'm sure sombody has a pic here somewhere, but again, with super slow dial-up I'd probably spend all day trying to find it...........ha!!!
Thanks.....

Here is what mine looked like with 33's and no lift. Goodyear MT/rR's 285-75r-16 on stock steel rims. I did not have rub issues.

I have since put a 2" RE BB and ProComp Xtreme MT's 33's.

How are the Pro Comp Xtreme MTs on the road? Unfortunately my JK spends most of the time on the street and my 20-mile commute is 50/50 interstate/secondary roads. I like the MT look, but figure AT is the best way to go for ride comfort and treadlife.

Here is my 4-door ( i know you asked for a 2-door) before lift ........ I did have to put SpiderTrax wheel spacers to alleviate my rubbing problems with 33x 12.50x 17

New Shoes, 255/85/R16 BFG M/T
Old shoes 225/75/R16
Before

After

I have been sick the last few days and didn't measure before the install. My best guess is around 3-4 inches more ground clearance. They will see dirt on Monday in Anza Borrego, coyote canyon

I went on a drive today. Here is my report.
On a scale of 1-10, 5 being stock 225/75/16 tires

Freeway:
Handling = 7
Power = 5
Passing power = 3
Noise = 4.5 with soft-top i could barely hear them

Street:
Handling = 6
Power = 5
entering traffic = 5
Noise = 5

My first impression is that overall the driving improved. Handling on the freeway greatly improved(that really surprised me). Power loss is barely noticeable until i went to pass a slow truck on the freeway. around town you couldn't even notice a loss in power. Noise isn't even an issue with a soft-top. i can't comment on a hard-top. I would recommend this size for anyone not wanting to do a gear change or lift. I will report MPG when I go through a few tanks. My guess is it wont change much. I drive slow. which helps.

Hey Thanks Guys....They all look pretty good for sure. I can't decide if I want to get the tires and wheels put on first and wait to do the 2.5" TF lift, or get the lift and then the tires/wheels.
Such a dilemma.....ha!!!
Hey 1leg....I just PM'd you!!!

Well mine is a 4dr but it gets you another look. I just put on Mickey Thompson MTZ's 285/75/16 (33x11.5x16). So far they are great. Suprising little road noise and handle great. Plus a very good aggressive looking tire. I havent gotten them off road yet, but the reviews off road have been great. As for rubbing, none at all. Even with the air dam in place I have about an inch at full turn.
