Default Src rocker gaurds vs xrc rock sliders

HEY Everyone

So I am looking to replace my stock Rubi rails for some more serious side protection. I want something to step on for when I am putting the top down but I am more interested in side protection. I have looked and looked online for the difference between the src rocker guards #76644 and the xrc rock sliders #76895. I have a good idea but I would love to have a few pictures of them on a fellow Jeeper would really help me make a decision.

So if you have one of these two and would like to post a few pictures I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Michael

ace rails! they are great. Works with the factory sliders. They are cheap and i have put them through some serious abuse.

Just took these (sorry its getting dark out). If you're looknig for a step than the SRC is not the way to go. I'm 6'8" so I don't need the step. like the guy above mentioned I'd go to the Ace rales over the XRC as the XRC's hang down a lot lower. I love my SRC's, only thing I plan to add to them is a third mounting point in the middle of the rail. I've heard they have a tendency to flex inward when they get hit right in the middle.

Ace is the way to go if you already have the rubi rails... I have the OR-FAB rocksliders with steps (b/c I didn't have any rubi rails) which are similar, I love how they stick out, I always park next to small sedans and I have no fear of getting any door dings. If I had a rubi I would have gone Ace

I was just looking at the ACE JK rock Sliders. Anyone that has them or you know of someone that has them really likes them? I'm looking for additional protection for the Jeep and I like ACE's price, but if it won't protect the Jeep I would like to know.

Thanks
