Default Regearing Factory Locker

I have a question or 2 regarding the factory lockers when the gears are changed in the axles.

Those of you who regeared, were you able to use your factory locker once regeared? I know the rear locker is also an option on the "X", but is slightly different than the Rubis (30 vs. 32 spline); has anyone done this with a non-rubi?

Thanks

It's possible that there are not too many that ordered a factory locker with the X; even less the people that did any gearing. However, I would think that Rubicon owners would not eliminate any form of a locker once they re-geared.

Or at least this is my logic.

I cannot see how changing the gearing which is essentially the ring and pinion would negate the use of the locker. I think that would be more a factor of the carrier.

I cant see it affecting it either. Alot of people have regeared the rubi's and their lockers work fine. The only issue I have heard of, was not reinstalling the locker sensor correctly or damaging it during the regear.
