Default Hi-lift mounted on ace rear bumper tire carrier?

Anyone got their hilift mounted to their ace rear bumper/tire carrier? If so, how did you go about it? I was thinking bolts and wing nuts but not sure if that's the best way.

I am also very interested in hearing some ideas. Ideally, I would like to mount the jack on the front of the tire carrier, opposite the spare tire. Maybe on the bars near the swivel would be a good place too. The question is how???

They expect you to mount it on the flat part of the plate behind the tire. The way my carrier rattled there was no way I was putting anything else on there though.

Are you saying to mount it on the same side as the tire? Or on the carrier, between the carrier and the tailgate? The only flat section is where the tire is mounted.

the flat part of the plate on the swing arm where the tire mount connects. so as your looking at it from the back it will be tire > hilift> swing arm> jeep. I never mounted mine, my swing arm broke a weld before I got the chance

So you have to take the spare off to get to the jack?

You should have a lifetime warranty on everything with that bumper.

Yea I got a no cost replacement on the first one, when the second one cracked a weld I asked for my money back and received it. You wouldn't have to take the tire off if you ran bolts in from the side with the jack and wing nuts or the like to the opposite side.
