Default Bilstien 5100's with a 3/4" lift?

Will I be ok if I put Bilstien 5100's on my jeep that has a 3/4" lift on it?

I know this may sound silly but it was the most I could do with still being able to fit in the garage.... The Bilstien shock say 2" lift.... Is this going to cause a problem or are they not going to function as well?

Thanks,
Jeff

depends on the shock length, you dont want the shock bottoming out.

Bilstein says that shock is for 1.5 to 3 inches of lift. You might need a 1" bump stop pad on the axles to keep the shocks from bottoming out. Also, they just might extend long enough to let a spring slip out without restraint straps.

Thank you, I may just go with the heavy duty yellow shocks, I really did not like the color of them though...

Any other ideas for quality shocks without breaking the bank?

I could get 4 hd bilstiens and a Bilstien steering stabilizer for $343 shipped no tax.
And if any of you sponsors can match that I would prefer dealing with you on the thread, please send me a PM.

I didn't actually find them on the Web site, but Bilstein must build a 5100 for the stock suspension height. They should work fine with the 3/4" lift.
