LOG Signiture Front Bumper and Engo WInch Install Question
Guys, PLease take a look at the below pics. Something doesnt seem right.
Is it common to see these parts after the bumper is installed?

WHen I look at the bumper from the front, it appears as if the bumper is ever so slightly longer on the left then the right. THey below picture could suggest the bumper is longer on the left than the right. Or, the mounts on the bumper where welded in the wrong spot.

AM I being anal? Is this how bumper installs usually look? DId I do something wrong on the install?
The winch is installed but the wires are incredibly tight against the grill. The winch cables are not long enough to route them behind the grill. Is this dangerous or could this set up eventually lead to WIch failure.

I installed the spacers as you are showing in your photo.
I need to check mine from that angle you show. Also have the LoD and the ENGO 10000 and do not recall that big gap between the bumper and body. Actually, the winch's control box fitted so tight that I turned it the opposite direction.
Will post some photos tomorrow. Posted some below and the last does not show that big gap so I want to double-check.

I started mine by installing first the winch plate, then the winch, then the wiring and at last the bumper.
If you are also installing the ENGO 10000 connect that ground cable to the bottom of the winch before bolting it to the plate. It's a bitch to place the bolt with the cable there after the winch is in place.
Besides that the only other problem was the control box's cables not fitting on the original position. I had to turn it the opposite direction.

DId you notice how the back left bolt for the skid plate has nothing to screw into? There is a hole on the back right in the frame but there isnt one on the back left. Weird.
As far as suggestions on the install, Sahara_Maverick is dead on. Print out the instructions from LOD's website. Start by installing the winch guard. The reality is that you will need an extra set of hands when connecting the winch plate and bumper. THey are too heavy to one hand it. ALso, Your knuckles will be bleeding and your hands will be aching. SOme of the nuts and bolts are hard to get to. IT took me from 12PM to 9PM to install the bumper, winch, lights, wires, switches, etc.
PS - Have a 6-pack handy. POst pics when your done.
