Default Windshield post lights

I'm looking at installing lights on the windshield frame. I would like to hear pro's and con's and pics of brackets and lights. Which ones do you recommend? Thanks for your words of wisdom.

KC long range slimlites sitting on smittybilt windshield brackets. I opted for the long range lights on the windshield because I have the driving lights on the MBRP grill guard. No complaints here.

PIAA 520 lights (bedlined the Chrome)

The lights are "driving" lights. So they have a mix of Spot beam and Flood pattern.

Not sure on the brackets. They are the down and out brackets though.

They are great for that spot since they don't put much glare on the hood like flood/fog lights.
