Default Balancing issue / shimmy after 35s install

Jeep drove great on my lift and stock moabs & bfg's, but after installing my goodyear mtr/kevlar and mb72s I'm getting a wobble/shimmy in the wheel around 45 mph and again at around 60 mph. I just had the tires rebalanced today, but with minimal to no improvement. The tire shop that I had do it used these counter balancing beads since they said with traditional weights that would've had to use upwards of 8-10 oz. on a couple of the tires. I don't know anything about these beads or if they're just smoke and mirrors, or if I'm missing something. Any input would be appreciated!

Ya, I have a set of 35's that I have had balanced 3 times now. I am running the balancing beads now and they aren't any better. I have the shimmy at about the same speeds you do. I don't know what the answer is. I'm trying a different shop next.

Had the same problem. Getting tires replaced as I post this. I have falken wildeak. 315 70 17. Have had them balanced around 4 times and it did no good. Good luck with your problem. might wanna take the replacement road. As long as it hyasnt been to many miles they should just swap them for you. Will report my findings in a few

i had that problem with dynabeads had the shop remove them and balance with weights , all tire guys are not equal you need someone that will take the time and rotate the tire on the rim to use the least amount of weight that being said try putting the tires on the front onto the rear and see if that helps could be a bad tire

Also for new wheels make sure they remove the metal rings on the lugs, that will throw off balance too.

I guess it was as simple as taking it to a shop that actually gives a crap. They removed those worthless beads and used stick on weights. Night and day difference. Nice to be able to enjoy driving my Jeep again
