Default MT MTZ vs Trail Grappler vs ??? HELP!

Hey all,

Time for some new meats on the ol' JK.

Here's the deal. I LOVE the look of an aggressive MT tire... especially with heavy sidebite blocks. BUT, this is my DD and I do a reasonable amount of highway time. I don't want a tire that is going to be so loud I can't think. I do occationally go offroad through mostly FL sand... no rock.

I would love some advice!!!

Any suggestions compared to stock BFG highway noise would be appreciated!

My 37" Trail Grapplers are real quiet and did not need balancing.

Listen, I'm a huge fan of meaty tires especially for wheeling but if you only go in sand and its minimal, look at the Nitto terra or dune grapplers, that'd prob be your two best bets for both highway and sand

Gunbo75, How would you compare the road noise of your open country to the stock BFG MTs?

Got the Toyos here. They do make noise but arent excessive. I've driven JKs with mtzs and didn't like the feel. They seemed very soft and wandered slightly on the highway. I prefer the slightly stiffer ride when driving the JK. Feel like I have more control at higher speeds.
