Looking to get the Evo enforcer 4" kit with 37"tires I know they sell that kit with the optional king 2.5 spec shocks.. but I don't like the fact that king shocks only gives you a 90 day warranty ?? Sounds crazy to me! So there for I might go with another shock company.. That being said I'm looking for the beast smooth and comfortable on road ride quality I do about 80% on road this being my DD.. this will be on a 2012 JKUR With AEV beadlocks and 37" pitbull rockers, stock flares..

What is the warranty like on the Fox shocks?

Have you emailed EVO guys and asked them? They can probably give you the beat advice, except from the super few people on here that have ran BOTH shocks on the same lift. Many have ran one or the other, but few have ran both.

Yea I just called them but I guess sense I'm not buying the king" add ons" they were really short with me.. And told me that any other shocks would run sluggish ?? Then I asked him if I went with the regular king 2.5 non "Evo spec" he kinda startled a little and didn't give me a straight foreword answer.. ??

Now, that's not good to hear. Because I'm seriously considering getting the front/rear EVO Double Throwdown setup. And if this is how they treat there customers and potential customers, I will go with Fox shocks.

I can't help on the shock question....I am trying to research as well....but why would you want to buy anything from a company that treats you that way? I have dealt with EVO in the past (years ago) and they were great, but it seems they got too big and their customer service has suffered. My friend spent a lot of money there and everytime he goes back they charge him more money and don't fix the problem.
Customer service to me is HUGE... if they (or anyone) treats you this way BEFORE they have your money..what will happen once they get it?

I believe REBEL Off Road has some King shocks that are valved softer than the EVO's King shocks

I don't get why you would expect EVO to provide info on non EVO King Shocks. I live in Washington and worked with Northridge4x4 to install my EVO coil overs/levers 18 months ago. I've had a few calls with EVO on tuning things and they have been great to work with. As to shock reliability I have 22,000 on road miles and about 400 off road miles (including Moab and the Rubicon) on mine without any issues.

If they can't provide info on regular king shocks then they shouldn't sell there items!

All of the King shocks we sell are built with EVO Spec valving to give your JK the best possible ride as well as control offroad. The fox's are not valved to the Evo Plush ride coils so you will not get the best ride the coils can provide.

The Kings have this warranty because they are a race shock and are built to be abused. King has no control over how the shock is installed, If the shocks installed improperly wrong bump stops, no bump stops etc. The shock can be damaged.

The King's have been the best match and valved for our EVO Plush ride springs. They can be also be revalved, rebuilt as needed.

With that said, we do sell Fox, Bilstein and any of your favorite white bodied shocks. All these have different warranty that may suite your needs

I have the EVO Enforcer kit with king 2.5" resi shocks. Love it! What do you want to know?

I have put approx. 15,000 miles on the lift and shocks both on and off road. I wouldn't sweat the warranty. I've talked to the guys at King and they are great to deal with.

Good luck with whichever ones you choose!
