Default dealer wants to trade my 2 door lemon for a 4 door

Evening yall, my dealer called me back to tell me they have a used 12 jku auto on their lot with 10k miles , my 2 door has 10 k on it too. My question is , would it be worth trading my problematic 2 door that I bought brand new for a used jku ? I feel that's kinda crappy , hell who knows how it was driven before?

I would consider it. I bought mine JKU with 7000 miles on it, I got under it and not even a scratch. By the time I got it up to 12000 miles the whole underside looks used.

If no damage consider

Take it for a long test drive and see if there are any issues. As the last message stated the easiest thing is to get underneath and look at any possible scratches.

Make them get you a brand new one!!! It's YOUR vehicle.

If you're actually filing a lemon case, then that offer is bogus.

From what it sounds like, you just have a problematic JK and haven't taken it to the legal level with the lemon law.

If option 2: Yes. Essentially, you're trading up from a 2dr to a 4dr. As said above take it for a good test drive. Check out the underbelly, motor etc.

Hell, take it through a car was if it's a soft top to see how badly it leaks (if at all). If it all checks out, then go ahead.

If they're going to keep you with the same payments, this should be a no-brainier. Especially since you'll be getting rid of your "lemon" JK.

Good luck.

It may have been a mall crawler and never been off the pavement. Just check it out thoroughly.

I really enjoy my AUTOMATIC... I aged out of stick shift (unless it's a vette)!!

It also may have been a rock climber and had been rolled over and repaired, thus explaining the low miles.
