Default No lift and Quick D'iscos?

worth it or not to throw on a set of jks qd's on an unlifted jku? was thinking of going with a leveler kit on my 2013 but in reality I am running 265/75-16 tires so do not really need any lift. I was looking at the jks brand qd's and they look pretty nice for ~$155 and adjust from 0-2" of lift so even down the road should work for me if I lift it a bit. Is it worth while? not a hard core wheeler by any stretch but would like to do more at some point.

Yes it is always worth it. Many others will have a different opinion but I like how well the stock suspension flexes. And having discos will only make it better. Many people may disagree but a lot of times the stock suspension will out flex an after market one. Having all four wheels on the ground is just as important as having lockers, if you can keep your tires on the ground you will go further than if you had the sway bar connected and lifted tires. I also have the JKS ones great for just what you described.

Do it. It's very worthwhile.

Dave yourself some money for now and replace the bolt with a Clovis pin. It'll cost you round 20 dollars. If ur not planning to lift it in the future them buy the jks disconnects. Search the forums for homemade quick discos

Do this!! And it cost me more like $4. All you need is the following from lowes hardware dept:

2- 7/16 x 2.5" adjustable Clevis pin
4- 7/16" flat washers
2- Hitch pins that fit snug in the Clevis pin holes

Definitely worth it. Just put a washer on both sides of the sway bar link to take the play out. I then use zip ties like this to hold it up when disco'd

Yes disconect the sway bar even on a stock suspension you'll get more articulation. After this, look into some Rubi or even SRA take offs. I picked up a set of rubi take offs for 800.00 with rims and I have seen them cheaper too since then. I you don't go off road much get the Goodyear SRA's as they are quieter on the road and still do pretty good of road. If you like going off road (the bug will get you) go with the Rubi tires. They do great off road and clear the mud out easily and they only have a little road noise. You'll be amazed what a stock suspension and a decent set of tires will get you through.

my 265/75's are about the same size as rubi take offs and much better tread imo then the sra's. I have rims that have 4.5" backspacing so works better for me too then rubi take offs. I do have 18/58 springs already (came that way from the factory) and I have rubi take off shocks.

Be careful where to swing them up when disco'd. My buddy had a blow out of the inner sidewall of his sra's from rubbing the sway bar link.
