Default Best spark plugs?!

What are the best spark plugs everyone's running? I'm sick of my stock ones and feel like they're eating my gas like no other...looking for good aftermarket ones that are efficient on gas

New stocker's or any quality idrium will do. It's not worth the time, money or effort unless you are having drivability issues or are close to 100k miles.

how can you tell your plugs are having an impact on your mpg? Did you just see one of those E3 spark plug commercials and fall for their BS?

The only way plugs should be causing poor mileage is they are the wrong ones / defective or worn out.

Yes, the E3's do cause problems for the 3.8L JK. Haven't figured out why, though.

BTW, that's a great rooftop camper you have in your avatar.

If your worried about gas consumption caused by the spark plugs its because they are worn out and aren't sparking like they should ive recently changed mine and ive noticed better mpg and its alot smoother idle and take off im running champion iridium the factory OE is a double platinum but you can't gap a fine wire platinum plug just stay away from Bosch plugs and E3 plugs and NGK's and you should be fine

If you're not having problems other than fuel economy, spark plugs won't help you. The 3.8 will not benefit from expensive plugs and is just a waste of money. I replaced mine with NGK IRIDIUM IX and oem mopar wires and getting 20mpg on average. Did you calibrate your tire size. You are doing the manual math to calculate your MPG vice the dash right?

Run the original oem plugs as the engine was designed with thos spark plugs. Don't run aftermarket, it will not help anything, they might give you issues if anything

Stay with oem unless you plan to change everything else that regulates voltage to the plug.
