I support him 100% when it comes to not wanting your $30k+ investment getting all scratched and dented to hell, as I'm the same way, but I personally can not wait to slap a new Oklahoma red mud paint job on my white JKU.

I bet it is a pain in the @ss to clean all the tape residue off the paint. Not to mention the wear and tear over time on the clear coat. At the end of the day though, it is his Jeep. He can do whatever the heck he wants to do with it...as long as his understands that his trail buddies will make fun of him relentlessly.

There are magnets that you can attach to the Jeep. A lot easier and better looking than tape.

Tapa' what?
