Default What size compressor for raptor liner?

Hey all,

So when the weather gets warm enough and a long weekend roles around I plan to take the plunge on this awesome project. I plan to do the tub and atleast the outside of the hard top if not the inside as well to get rid of the white.

I do have one question that is still nagging that I'm not sure about.

U-POL states that you need a 8 cfm 40-90 psi compressor to get the job done. I dont have a compressor but have access to a friends but it does not reach U-POLs requirements. The compressor I have access to is a small 5 gallon that I can get the proper psi out of but not the cfm. With that said will I still be able to spray in the raptor liner in without issue or do I need access to a larger compressor that reaches 8 cfm??

Thanks

Everyones jeeps look amazing with the liner in them. Great write ups and information for this project. Definite inspiration for me doing this to my jk.

If you can get the proper PSI it will work just fine. Just did my truck bed in a color matched red with a little compressor

Thats great to hear. Did the texture come out even? Always been a fan of the tinted liners sprayed on. Still waiting to see a yellow spray job in a jk. Sure would be a sunny rig. How many gallon tank did you have on your compressor?

That looks great. Really shows that you don't need to have a massive compressor to get it done.

Thanks. Yeah it's really just PSI that dictates a good spray job.
Post up some shots of that bad boy when it's done!

Thanks for the info and I defiantely will. Itll be awhile before it gets warm enough but that will give enough time to have everything ready.
