I have a 09 Rubicon with the dana 44 and I completely demolished it. Is there anyway by looking at the vin number what it has for gears?

Call a dealer with your VIN number and I'll tell you what what gears you have.

Try these tables. Get up to 70 mph on a flat highway for a bit and then look to see what your RPM's are, simple.
