I just put my Trektop NX on for the first time in a heated garage plus a heater in the jeep. It took me 1.75 hours!
Please say this gets easier.
It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to put a soft top up right? At least that is about how long it took me on my old YJ.

there is a trick to latching the front after the back is all attached on your new top...
When the top is new, it's so tight that it will force those adjusting plates back when you try to close the top. The nuts will keep it from sliding back, and then you will be able to latch it. Latching will still be difficult the first few days, but you will at least now be able to get the latches through the windshield hoops!
- loosen the thumb screws on the connecting point for the two ront rods
- slide it as forward as it will go and tighten them
- insert a small nut on either side between the metal adjustable bracket and the door surround.
