Default Was Rear Ended last night in my JK...

Hey guys, me and my girlfriend got rear ended last night leaving a restaurant... My girlfriend and I have stiff and sore necks and pain in our backs.. We are going to get checked out by the doctor tomorrow..The vehicle that hit us was totalled, and my jeep suffered some scrapes on my warn rear bumper, which I just got.. Also it cracked my spare wheel and the tire has gone flat.. Just wondering if anyone has had an experience with this, and what the process is with all this.. Any advice would be appreciated... Thanks...

I'm sorry I really don't have any advice, but I hope everyone's ok. I just want to say I'm proud of your Jeep for winning against the mean beamer.

Not happy to see you get rear ended, but with this and a few other threads on here with the exact same thing happening to them, I'm really loving the way the wrangler is holding up to the accidents. That spare tire hanging off the end of the vehicle really is taking the brunt of the force and standing up to it. While the other car or even semi in one case don't seem to be faring as well.

This is why I'm not usually too worried about other cars that are smaller than me. If that BMW was a real SUV, it wouldn't look like that.

I had someone hit me a few weeks ago with a shuttle bus. Believe it or not, it hit the spare and barely bent the tire carrier. They are paying for the damage. Sorry you got hit and I hope everything turns out ok.

gotta love JK's with our steel after market bumpers. Perfect example of why I'd never go bumperless in the back.

Hope you're feeling better... Perfect example of why i highly recommend removal of factory bumpers and getting heavy duty off road. With a factory bumper that beamer would have been all in your tub.

Surprised with that much impact to your rear tire that your rear door isnt warped. The damage to the beamer is incredible... They are made to crumple, but thats crazy. Did your airbags deploy?
