Yes, everyone has trouble with those stupid things.

Put the screw driver in and use very light pressure to turn them and back the center "screw" portion out just enough to grab it and pop them out (they are a little more of a plastic rivet than screw)

If that doesnt work, scrwe the tip of a drywall screw into them just enough to grab them and pull them up and out.

If that still doesnt work, drill one of the damn things out, go to your local Autoparts store to match it up and grab a bag of replacements for about $4-$5 bucks. I bought a bagfull at NAPA i think there was 8 or 10 in it, for like $3.99. Lowes, Autozone etc. apparently all carry them as well.

Blowtorching them would not be advised. Considered, but not advised. *L*

I used the drywall screw method, works great and you can still use the screws afterward, no need to buy new ones.

I'll be installing the Silverstars this weekend, just got them yesterday. Did the fogs and Hella 500's already, took longer to get the headlights.

Just get a flat-head screwdriver and pry up the center "Pin" then pry up the other "socket" with same screwdriver. I have taken these thingsout 3-4 times in the past month without drilling/breaking/burning/torching/smashing and any other adj. you can think of.

I found it much easier to replace the bulbs from the front than the back. The passenger side one in particular is inaccessible from the rear with my meat hooks...

When I upgraded my bulbs I just lifted up on the grill and the screws that I couldn't get out popped out.

Just remove one 10mm bolt for the power steering resivoir and the bulb
will pop right out. Only takes one bolt and about 90 seconds to replace
those bulbs.
