Default wrangler duratracs

im thinking about buying wrangler duratracs for my jeep...i like how they look but reviews on the treaddepot website are saying that these tires are not able to be balanced and steering wheel shakes alot...i do a lot of highway driving to work and i wont be doing any serious off roading but i want an aggressive looking tire....anyone have them, and what do you think?

I had a new set (315/70/17) mounted to a new set of AEV Pintlers (non-beadlock). The tire shop had a difficult time with two of them, and a very difficult time with another one. They marked the best 2 for front, the other 2 for rear and the worst for spare. I haven't installed them yet so no road experience, but plan on going back to have them re-balanced once I put them on the road if there are any issues.

I'm surprised that review was about the duratracs. That is a more common report for the GY MTR-K tires. I have looked at a bunch of different tire sites and the duratracs seem to be universally loved. Quiet on road yet enough teeth to count off road. Good manners in general. I have not heard of a balance issue with them. I'm now subscribed. I am curious if anyone has had this issue. These are probably my next tire...

I have them and have noticed no issues with the they drive. Rotate them every oil change(4000 mi). They do have alot of weights on the wheels. But run smooth. Mine are mounted on MB72's.

This was the solution by the tire place that did mine, but they stated it took 2-3x more weight than even a typical "heavy" application. I hope to put mine on and report back soon.

Has anyone heard of or tried rotating the tire 90 degrees and re-balancing again? I saw this at some point but can't find a reference for it now.

It's called match mounting.
